Focusing Efforts to Transition current ePartnerViewer users to New Portal
We are incredibly grateful for our Participants' continued support and active engagement during our transition to new technology. While data continues to populate the KHIE Portal, our Outreach and Training team is committed to providing comprehensive training and support to ensure end-user readiness,
We are thrilled to announce the launch of a new user management tool designed to give the designated KHIE Admins direct control to manage user access. We are implementing a phased rollout of an extensive training plan and invite you begin training on the new portal. With the goal of having all users transitioned by March 1, 2026, using the train-the-trainer approach, we will equip you with the skills to master user provisioning.
In this phase of the training rollout, we are offering virtual training on the new KHIE Portal and its integrated tools to our designated KHIE Admins. Watch for communications detailing the virtual training sessions occurring during the month of February 2026. As a bonus, in March, we plan to extend these sessions to all users, minimizing the burden on KHIE Admins. Watch for upcoming communications detailing the March sessions!
KHIE will Transition all Participating Organizations to New Technology Platform in 2025
To continue advancing its mission of creating a healthier Kentucky, KHIE partnered with CRISP Shared Services (CSS), a nationally recognized leader in health information infrastructure and data exchange to provide new technology and expanded services for all KHIE participants.
This transition is necessary for KHIE's sustainability and will enable us to continue providing the dynamic and powerful tools and services, at no cost to KHIE participants. The CSS technology platform and shared services model will allow us to deliver more robust services, efficiently and cost-effectively, and better position us to meet current and emerging healthcare needs across the state.
In spring 2025, KHIE started transitioning participants to the new technology platform. The transition is expected to last through the end of the year. Throughout the transition, we will maintain all existing services and tools and will provide no cost, hands-on support to our participants; we do not anticipate a disruption to participant's access to information.
