KHIE has successfully connected to the national eHealth Exchange!
KHIE Participants now have access to clinical information from connections made through the national eHealth Exchange. UK Healthcare, St. Elizabeth Healthcare, the University of Louisville Physicians, Baptist Healthcare, and Mercy Health are local healthcare systems contributing data and/or querying KHIE for health information through the national eHealth Exchange!
The connection to the national eHealth Exchange not only enables KHIE to share healthcare information from some of the Commonwealth's Provider and Hospital Organizations but from other healthcare organizations located outside of Kentucky in bordering states as well as from specific healthcare organizations that we know are important to you, such as the University of Cincinnati Health. Stay tuned as we continue to make additional connections.
As always with KHIE, there are no fees associated with this benefit AND you can have access to this bonus health information without the cost of making a technical connection directly to the national eHealth Exchange.
