KHIE System Maintenance

***********************************************Next Scheduled Downtime****************************************************** KHIE will undergo scheduled downtime on Saturday, December 6, 2025. The downtime is expected to last from 7:00AM EST - 5:00PM EST.

The KHIE Production system will undergo UNSCHEDULED production update.

This downtime will affect interfaces for providers sending data to KHIE via WEBSERVICES. All VPN providers should not be affected.

60 minutes of WEBSERVICE Tunnel downtime is required for Release 12.6.3.0 deployment.

During the downtime, WEBSERVICE participants data will not flow through the KHIE system. Participants should be notified of scheduled downtime and should not send data to KHIE during the downtime. After downtime, participants can start sending the messages again. Participants will have to retry for the messages sent during the downtime, once the tunnels are up.
The data will queue up on the provider side. Once the maintenance is complete, the tunnel will be reopened and messages will begin to process.

Please review the following information regarding upcoming maintenance:

KHIE strives to maintain optimal performance of its system and will periodically conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. On Friday evenings and some Saturdays, the KHIE ePartnerViewer will undergo scheduled maintenance to improve performance. Regarding scheduled maintenance times, you can expect to be notified in a timely manner. Additionally, the maintenance details will be included here and in the Announcements section in the ePartnerViewer.

During the downtime, there will be a disruption in the following services in the KHIE Production Environment:

Participant data will not flow through the KHIE system.
CMS Notifications will not be sent to Participants.
Event Notifications will not be sent to Participants.
MoveIt will not be available.
The ePartnerViewer portal will not be available.

Participant will not be able to access patient clinical information.
Participant will not be able to report communicable diseases through Direct Data Entry.

Once the maintenance has been successfully performed, the system will be back online and available for use. We appreciate your patience during this time. We recognize the value KHIE brings to you and want you to know that we are working to ensure our system performs optimally.
